Yesterday was the hottest day I have ever experienced in Amsterdam. It must have been around 38 degrees! Of course it was also the day we decided to move house! Murphy's law!
We did manage to enjoy the evening after all the stress of packing and walked across the Amstel to have dinner at a little Greek restaurant. It was sooo hot that we had to strip the baby down to his nappy and drape wet cloths over him to keep him cool. Hard to imagine that in another few months we will be huddled up in our furry things, surrounded by snow! I love Amsterdam in the Summer. I feel totally at home in these temperatures.
